True, guess it was just a lucky coincidence that a load of other players turned out to be injured a few hours after the request to postpone had been turned down.

I would agree, they were doubtless made up/exaggerated in order to overturn the initial decision, which was a bullshit decision given the ‘big 6’ (ugh) had all games cancelled with fewer cases. We had 8/9 available senior outfield players when we initially requested the postponement and were rushing a few back from injury for that. Blame the FA/PL for making a stupid call in the first instance.

We did have 5 players with actual covid (as opposed to kopite kovid) though.
