Based on a recommendation in this thread a while ago I have these for when it gets really muddy in Wanstead Park/Wanstead Flats/Epping and apart from the challenging aesthetics I cannot fault them. The sizing is a bit weird but I read enough reviews to figure it out (can't remember if I had to size up or down).
My aim for 2022 is 100 runs. I'm not sure how many I did last year but trying to average two a week seems reasonable.
Nearly had a big setback on Tuesday when, 500m from work I ducked between a set of bollards on Whitehall without noticing that they were along the edge of a step. I went over on my ankle, and banged up my left knee. Got the tube home and it was alright the next day, and after a very slow 5k on Thursday and a decent 10k today I think it's holding up.
I need some shoes that can handle running in mud though. Wanstead Park was not easy going this morning.
