  • (Sorry, late reply...) If I had more spare time and money, the Powermann Long Distance Duathlon looks right up my street, both in terms of endurance and running bias. But I'll likely stick to the running/rowing combo especially as both are relatively time-efficient compared to cycling. I've managed to keep a consecutive training day streak going so far this year (6 days, woohoo!) so I want to keep that going as long as possible.

  • Good luck with consistency. For the rest of January and probably most of February consistent low to moderate intensity 5-6 days a week is my only only goal. Powerman long distance is a bucket list race for me but I'd need to be running at least 30 seconds per mile for me to do well there and I'm about a minute per mile off being able to really mix it up with the fastest AG guys and with a baby now I don't thats realistic 30s maybe. It definitely suits a runner that can ride rather than the other way round. The Fugitive longer distance duathlon in Marlow might be worth a look i certainly fancy it. Good luck with the training 💪
