Actually, when they come up (which is admittedly not often) in Lidl these (at under a fiver) are belters. I have them scattered around the house, workshop, allotment shed and cars. The price even includes red, blue and green filters AND batteries!
Full aluminium construction and a tail switch. Perfect emergency grab torches that just don’t worry you if they were to get lost or ‘appropriated’.
