Booo.
Is it a 54?!

• #14704
have you seen the bartape ?
rims could do with a little scrub too -
• #14705
I totally understand your point and would not consider with almost any other CAAD paintjob but just don't get along with it.. I will not go too crazy with colors I promise..It's a 56

Ha sorry. Personal preference etc etc, go crazy. I just really like that particular paint scheme and I think would look great with silver stem / seatpost on some shallow rims with gumwalls.
If I saw a 54 I’d prob buy one myself.

• #14707
Yeah. I've not seen that exact paint scheme before.
-
• #14708
Ha! You bought this from me :) I already thought your all city looked very ‘on here‘. Looking forward to see it progress.

Ha, sehr cool, wie klein ist die Welt!
Will update pics, but it's going to be a slow build.

In der tat :)

Yeah that's really nice, makes me think about repainting mine. Block colours and simple graphics help mask the less pretty curved toptube on the 9.

Understand why you might want to repaint that but maybe build it up first. Pretty rare colour way and could look really nice with stealthy/simple finishing kit.

Here it is with not so shallow wheels, a silver seatpost and one gumwall ;)

Paint it!

How sure can you be that it’ll look better? There are a lot of bland repainted Cannondales out there with one-colour paint jobs and badly placed decals from the wrong era.

Was this on Kleinanzeigen?

Oh man, the bike world really is tiny. Sorry again, the first store I went to is right down my street and the owner told me she threw out all the boxes the day before. The guy in the other store said he didn‘t have a matching box but tbh I think he just didn‘t want to be bothered. Then I got seb‘s message and took the opportunistic route... hope you‘ll find another suitable candidate soon!

It wasn't meant to be but it's all good. I actually have a CAAD3 that I'm working on now.

Hi lfgss peeps, quick question, the CAAD 3 - 6 models, do they dent easily, also is the ride very harsh?
Thanks -
• #14723
no, yes.

• #14724
Ha, sorry for snitching this from you, but I guess it's just been to convenient for Sig..your caad2 looks rad!

Ok thanks. So compared to something like Reynolds 853/753 it's pretty jarring?
Exactly, I really dislike the tribal decals..
