My mate works for them and said the repairs he'd seen were decent - I've still not used them though.

I took my Blacksmiths down this afternoon. The guy there seemed pretty good. He had the Montagna and 43o soles in stock but to make a few phone calls to confirm they could do the Wedge. He eventually confirmed they could do it by sending away to their shoe repair place. White Vibram Wedge and midsole for £73. Said they'd be ready in 10 days. I shall report back.

Yo mustardbeak! The dude in Timpsons in Tesco has got some encouraging 5 star reviews. Reckon it's worth giving him a go? The website says they send them off to the "excellence centre" (or something) if they can't fix in store.
