The original inspiration was being able to get longer items home from lumberyards and such, so I designed it with the deck height above the wheels in order to not limit load size. I also am able to change the length of the trailer extension quickly by removing the pins and inserting a variety of 1 inch alu square tubing.
Been used for groceries, wood, shop vac, et cetera.
Bit of a hack.
So what do you do with a single bar end with a broken clamp that you found on the side of the road a few years ago? Nothing, until tonight when I needed a handle for the bike trailer I made a ways back. This allows me to use it as a cart when I need to go get a dozen bottles of wine from up the street. At the edge of the pic is the shipping crate that is often attached to the deck.
