Bit of a hack.
So what do you do with a single bar end with a broken clamp that you found on the side of the road a few years ago? Nothing, until tonight when I needed a handle for the bike trailer I made a ways back. This allows me to use it as a cart when I need to go get a dozen bottles of wine from up the street. At the edge of the pic is the shipping crate that is often attached to the deck.

Nice! Pics of the trailer attached to the bike?
Do you have plans for it?

I’ll have to dig for pics, but I plan to use it for hauling stuff, as designed : )
The original inspiration was being able to get longer items home from lumberyards and such, so I designed it with the deck height above the wheels in order to not limit load size. I also am able to change the length of the trailer extension quickly by removing the pins and inserting a variety of 1 inch alu square tubing.
Been used for groceries, wood, shop vac, et cetera. -

Found a few.
This is with the shorter extension.

Oh, sorry. Pretty much done for now, mulling over design changes usually happens out on the road when I can't load some item.

Not entirely sure if this belongs here, but a week ago we ran out of dishwasher tablets.
Ended up using a spoonful of bicarbonate of soda and a squirt of washing up liquid and have been doing so since then. I feel like it works better than the usual tablets, but that might be the rose-tinted glasses of bodgery coming in to effect.

Washing up liquid? Won't your kitchen fill up with foam?
