it's not perfect and it's messy in places, with some stretches of boring action scenes. (are these contractually mandated because every film has to be 2.5 hours long these days for some reason?) but it's also really weird and beautiful and definitely worth watching imo. did not know until after that david mitchell was co-writer - tho makes a lot of sense in retrospect

watched the new matrix… which actually kinda owned, much to my surprise given the mixed notices it has been receiving. need to go back and rewatch the original trilogy again, in light of 4
