If that stem is Serotta Speed Yellow could I ask that you let me know if you ever fancy selling it?
-
• #635
It’s not an absolutely perfect match for the paint but it’s dam close. I think it will stay with the frame if I sold it.
-
• #636
Well if it’s a 56 I can think of an easy way of addressing that question.

60cm :) and not for sale
-
• #638
Sadly I don’t think that I’m going to get any taller, so 60cm is a bit beyond me.
But it might be worth it just for the stem.

One for you rather esteemed Serotta fans here. It's time to say goodbye to my Atlanta, having just gotten another bike.
I'm torn on the best approach of selling it. Is it better to sell it as a frame/fork combo or just leave it with the Campy SR11, Rotor crank, H plus Son (Chris King) wheels complete bike. You don't see many for sale these days hence my confusion, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

best approach
What’s your ideal outcome? More money, quick, or easy all in one sale?
almost always get more if you break the bike down and sell everything separately, with the risk of it taking longer and being left with some parts you don’t want

This might sound odd, but I'd rather it go to a home where someone rides and enjoys it like I did so if that's complete, then cool but yeah agree that breaking it down might yield more return.

is it a 56cm? I'd be interested in pictures!

• #643
It is and ill pull it from the garage tomorrow and take some pics

Great addition to your collection I reckon

I’d be interested to see pictures. My size and loved my last Serotta

She needs a clean and I would so do it if it wasn't pissing down and the wife wasn't really ill with covid, I'm sorry.
56cm, the rotor cranks and chainring really did help with battered ex-DH mtb knees, yes it isn't to everyones taste but my knees didn't care ;)

Nothing really changed, but captured what I felt was a decent photo of the bike for once so here it is. Planning to slam on those multicolored knock-off eeBrakes from the AliExpress thread, at the very least for a quick mock-up. Probably wont be going for a full install quite yet as my front brake cable (and maybe rear) is likely too short for the brakes.
