Have found a pizza vending machine...should I try a pizza or not?

Franco Manca was good, they were small but haven't the owners changed? when I last had one of their pizzas it wasn't great.
What was the Puglia pizza like?
Have you tried La giaconda in Hornsey?

Biga pizza again, I think 36hrs in the fridge. Very bubbly, it was hard to keep the crust from catching fire.

I have some excess bags of Caputo Nuvola 1kg for £2 a pop in SE13 you can pick up or I can bring to you

Props to the forummer who suggested parking anchovies for time
Broke out a tin that were about 6m over their BBE date, very buttery, just melted into the pizza, almost no bones to speak of. Very tasty.Need to stockpile some for future years.

Saved my pizzas with an emergency yeast order after the dry yeast turned out to be dead.

Have a voucher from work burning a hole in my pocket. Thinking Ooni Koda 12. I have a gas bbq so makes sense that I can share a cylinder. Not mad on the idea of faffing with pellets either.
Good idea/bad idea?

Just ordered 25kg of Caputo Manitoba. A bit more towards the bread spectrum than the Nuvola I had before but I can’t be doing with two 25kg bags.

Love ours. Would go Koda 16 if I’d bought it myself (was a gift).

The voucher won't stretch to the 16" model. Is it just so you can cook bigger pizzas or having more space to manoeuvre your pizzas about?
What sorta of surface do people have them on? I'll probably have to invest in some sort of outdoor table too

The L-shaped burner instead of just the one at the back should mean less turning to get an even crust, I'm not too fussed about the size myself. We have it on an old garden table but do need to get a decent surface for it. There's been some talk about a suitable Ikea thing here:
https://www.lfgss.com/comments/15865323/
mentions the Ikea FÖRHÖJAhttps://www.lfgss.com/comments/15469069/
says Ikea KLASEN but I can only find the top shelfIkea GRILLSKÄR looks good too

Great idea.
I have a 12 and think a 16 would be overkill for my needs.
-

Was hoping there would be an IKEA solution. Looks like the Klasen comes in two parts

Actually looks like I can't get that in Ireland.
This might work https://www.ikea.com/ie/en/p/grillskaer-kitchen-island-shelf-unit-black-stainless-steel-outdoor-50471446/

We bought the Ooni table and the quality is much better than IKEA. It’s been outside uncovered on a roof terrace for a year in Barcelona with no issues.

OK, good to know!

Has anyone seen the Ooni Karu 16 in action? Wonder how much better the heat distribution is with the glass door in the front. Although the size seems to make it much more unpractical than the regular Koda
-
• #4774
We have an older pro and the difference between door on and off is significant

I made a pizza for a neopolitan last night .He brought smoked mozzarella.. nice touch .
He didn’t choke so I guess it passed .
Btw Lidl are doing perfect kindle for a wood fired ooni

Would agree. I kinda like yard sale but it’s just a middle class dominoes really and Franco manco just another chain.
