@rogan looking at that placement you have an angled surface and empty space behind the speakers, wonder if that has removed some interference from room resonance and opened up the sound?

yeah this room is open and not symmetrical, has more sofia and stuff in general, the downside is that you can hear throughout the houses now so not ideal if there was more than just the two of us around.
