Had a go at cleaning the magnaclean in my MIL's. Failed miserably as I could only reach one of the isolation valves with my fingertips and couldn't actually see whether it was closed or not (annoyingly they spin past off back to on).
Started to open it up but seemed to get quite a bit of water coming out so decided the valve wasn't closed.
