Decided to start building the pedal kit I bought 6 months ago! A Jed’s peds klon clone, which I’m quite intrigued about.

I think we must have bought a Jed’s Peds kit around the same time, I might start my harmonic percolator this week as well!

Have fun dude! I put a few kits together over lockdown and really enjoyed it.

I always wanted to try one of them. Might order the Axis Fuzz today…

If this one turns out ok, I’m definitely going to get more. Top tip, get a bright light and maybe a magnifier - I’m not that old but reading resister codes is painful under ambient evening lights.

I got the Black Russian for Xmas from my in-laws, looking forward to putting that together

Still early days for me playing wise, but I have just written out all the chords for not just knee deep by funkadelic, it’ll take time to bring it all together.. 11 in total includes a couple of power chords. I’m just loving the discovery of playing.
Also enjoy watching this legend.

Yeah - reading glasses at a minimum. I found it really useful to have a multimeter to double check resistors.
I did the Blues Driver, Gilmour Fuzz and the Sullenburger from Jed’s and they all sound great -

Lovely. Love how natural and live your recordings sound.

Nice work!

Nice, I enjoyed that, it took me back. Reminded me a little of a band I used to listen to, called Norfolk & Western, around the time Milk-Eyed Mender came out.

I’ve not done much guitar building in the second half of this year, but I’ve been super happy to help an old friend with his build.
After he found a set of original Fender Wide Range Humbuckers to put in his 70s Thinline Tele Deluxe, he wanted to build something else to make use of the Creamery WRHBs that he’d had in it before - hitherto his favourite pickups.
He bought an unfinished Jaguar body and sent it to me for modification to accept the pickups, and for finishing in Fiesta Red nitrocellulose. I got it back to him this week, and he’s built it up into the prettiest Jagblaster with a 1960s Musicmaster neck.
Sláinte everyone, happy new year.

Just dropped my accoustic🤦.
Really innocuous thing, I was taking it off my shoulder in its gig bag and it landed on the rear strap button. The top has split slightly and come away from the sides. It's definitely repairable and I have the option to send it to the Taylor repair centre in Amsterdam or to Andertons which is a Taylor gold repair centre.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend a decent independent luthier in or around north west London? Always good to have as many options as possible in circumstances like this.

That looks indecently badass. HNY nerds!

Oh noes!
I’m out of touch with good London repair guys these days. Soz.

It does, and I covet it greatly. He’s a notorious flipper, so I might get a chance!

Anyone after a Telecaster? 2001 US Standard, all original. Bad points: a couple of paint chips, and one of the string ferrules on the back has been replaced. Looking for £750 and you're welcome to come and see it.

That's a very nice Telecaster!
Yeah I think I'll get some of the silver top knobs and some tulip button tuners which should tie it together nicely!
