He's a fucking coke ponce, that's where he's been
-
• #69303
No because there’s a 24 hour police detail there.
Like at the First Ministers house actually.
-
• #69304
Ah I didn't click on it, personal address.
-
• #69305
obviously never been in the nick. Good for you.
Its not a post office... -
• #69306
Not sure it’s relevant but the small not so quaint mining village i grew up the post office was literally also the police station.
-
• #69307
Obviously not, but it is an example of it often occuring without political intervention. It's a massive leap from police acting like dicks to some sort of political conspiracy to make the guys life uncomfortable for a few hours.

My father, uncles even grandad and many others would tell you otherwise from the Miners Strike.
Used extensively at the time, father had to walk 27 miles home one time at 3ish
-
• #69309
That's a different thing to what we are talking about tho. Miners strikes are a specific series of events withing a set time frame that could not be anything but political due to the events surrounding them.
Releasing people at 3am to be a cunt is something police have done to people forever because the are cunts.
And I'm not even sure why I'm discussing it with you, it's the straw man you dug out to save some face when you quickly saw your original point was a bit stupid.

A likely story! (my best plod impression ;p )
My point, as dull as it was, is when you get arrested you get processed. This takes time. Sometimes theres an interview. Time again. Then theres more processing, a decision, usually people there before you. T I M E.When you go to hospital and are released during unsociable hours its the same thing. Some offer taxis. Some. Some people need transport, elderly, disabled etc. Do you think it apparates the second they need it? No.
Tell the offender and the constabulary to be more courteous with their criminal logistics next time....

You bright it up…

Police are cunts.
They are not minders.
Get arrested in the morning. Simples. -

"these fuxjing builders digging up the roads, hiw am I to get to work"
Thats why they are there dummy....

• #69314
Brought it up? The 3am thing? You did actually, you can check the posts.

If the police being cunts about how they treat people in custody is something you would like to reduce then perhaps see if there are any vacancies for Independent Custody Visitors in your local area.
London link, 'cause this is LFGSS, at https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/mayors-office-policing-and-crime-mopac/community-safety/independent-custody-visitors

I come from small town Cumbria, this was standard practice in the 90s. Arrested on a night out, taken 30 miles up the coast and let out at 3am with no way of getting home. Sometimes without your shoes.
Isn't that how fell running was invented?

Or the Bogle Stroll?
-
• #69320
Damn. I remember that. If we’re talking about the same Manchester overnight walk thing
-
• #69321
Yep. Legend has it that some lecturers from UMIST went to a conference at Lancaster University but missed the last bus home, so walked it - thus staring a rag week tradition. Was a big thing when I were a lad.

Maxwell going down for noncing.

There will be loads of articles on what she did now, reporting restrictions lifted. Andrew's gonna be sweating like Richard Madeley at the checkout.

Ha!
I mean it’s probably not something I should find funny… but I do. -

Maybe 40 years? She won't get out alive.
Organising a party at a private address, without consent, with risk of trespassing needs police intervention.
