I'd say they're a bit long for that, just a paired pannier like the dutch style ones as far as I can see.

They are, yes. Need a wee wipe down, but they're unused - NOS.

Bag arrived yesterday. Nice little increase in capacity for mince pie portage. The mustiness should keep any uninvited snackers away.
