Also here’s a thing;
serving hot crisps at the table for Sunday and also Christmas dinner. I have only experienced this at the ex in-laws house in Banbury, never anywhere else. My daughter offered me this yesterday with pigs in blankets, gravy, cranberry sauce, when I called in after waifs and strays. Also youngest daughter suggested this to her BF yesterday as they did Xmas in Bath, which was received with a puzzled look response.
I haven’t the heart to say that perhaps; ‘this is what poor people think rich people serve at the dining table’. Maybe I should have called this out long ago.
I continue to look on the crisp packets for serving suggestion, nada..
