How have I never known about these?! My favourite shirt has an annoying floppy collar - are you saying that there's a solution to this??

“Collar Tips” will get you a lot of hits and no shortage of derision.
Do what works, that’s my approach. -
Collar bones. You need a pocket built into the collar to insert them. The bones need to be the same length as the collar and quite stiff. I have a small box full of them from my time of wearing seriousness cloths. Now that it has been mentioned, I am struggling to remember the last time I wore a tie. Years probably.

Top tip is to buy a multi pack of stainless ones with a mix of different sizes.
The plastic ones aren't great and you often seem to loose one of the pair. The they're usually only preferable if you have a thin/fine summer shirt - say one with a high linen content. Then you risk damaging it.
