No they still haven't figured it out after 20 years unless you buy their overpriced cable which doesn't fit most lights.
-
• #4053
Ah, thanks - that's useful to know before I start hunting for it.
What's the easy and cheap solution to connect a temporary front light, until I upgrade next year? Cheers.

I think it depends on the light/hub combo, but SJS cycles or Spa Cycles can sort you out. You could solder something on but obviously that a) requires soldering and b) is trickier to undo when needed

The basic spade connectors a a set of heat shrink tubing should come with the dynamo.

Ah yes, so they do. Managed to track down the box. Thanks all.

Anyone have any crimp connectors going spare, only need a couple and loathe to buy them in joblots..
need TWO 4.8mm x 0.8mm for a Son Dynamo and TWO 2.8mm x 0.5mm for a b&m rear light.
Plus if you’ve got any heat shrink that would be great as well. Thanks

I could stick some in the post to you for price of postage if no one else in London can sort.
-
• #4061
That would be great. Will pm you if no one else raises their hand in london.
Thanks

Anyone got a rear light they'd be willing to sell?
Looking for a son/B&M toplight line small rear/supernova e3 (or other rear light that will fit this: https://framebuildersupply.com/collections/light-brackets/products/supernova-e3-schmidt-son-tail-light-bracket-seat-stay-mount-black-and-silver) to use with my IQ-X/son deluxe (I gather there are compatibility issues with some light combinations?).
Ideally with cable to connect to my IQ-X front light.
Cheers!

The wife is going to use battery lights for work, so I have a supernova light pair to flog, seatpost fit rear, will let go for a bargain for a quick sell.
Also just found a sinewave revolution in my spares that can also go for a bargain; £120 new, £60 if sold today.

Can anyone remember who on this forum had a mount produced which attached to the back of a fork crown but allowed them to mount a dynamo light on the front? I remember seeing it a few years back but can't seem to find the post.
If I remember it was made by someone they'd contacted on Instagram.
Edit - Now found (Instagram was the key search word)

Sadly Paul has stopped machining parts.

Has anyone managed to mount an exposure Revo nicely to their fork whilst keeping the qr cleat mechanism? Wondering if the stem or action can mount + something might work? https://www.exposure-use.com/Brands/Exposure-Lights/Products/Bike/Brackets-and-Mounts/3-Prong-Action-Camera-mount-to-Exposure-Cleat
Currently have it bolted nicely to a bit of disk brake adapter and B&M mount but want to be able to remove and switch the light between bikes quickly.

Should my SON 28 hub have come with a sort of connector 'lego brick' thing for connecting the front light?
