Been out the watch loop for a while, what decade would I expect to get my hands on a retail of the new Explorer? my interest has resumed now its 36mm again

I waited 12m for mine back in 2019 and I’d bought 3 watches from them before that (no idea if that makes a difference)

i bought my 116000 from WoS .. but at heathrow.. so not sure that helps me..?

WoS is WoS is WoS. Globally. I’ve even been acknowledged as a customer at WoS NYC when I’d only been a customer at Heathrow.

I’ve even been acknowledged as a customer
That's impressive

Sarcasm aside, what I meant is they had all of my details and receipts in their system already having only shopped at T5.

In white it now does look a bit large. Sort of moved it into flash territory. In black I think its nice.
Sort of the opposite of the old one.

I love the white one the most just wish it was 40mm
-
• #59993
I'm with you on that, 100%. I'd take 5 digit over 6 digit any day.

Nah, everything else is too small. But then I'm team @ChainBreaker when it comes to watch sizes. It's a bit hench around the shoulders but wears comfy.
I think the non-dive bezel makes the dial look disproportionately bigger, particularly the white one, but I like the extra space and wide hands - the BB 41 ETA is basically the same case size but the dial seems noticeably smaller / less easy to read to my aged eyes.

I’ll just keep waiting for the 36mm version.
J/k, I’d love a five digit polar dial.

I know everyone says shit like this all the time, but I really wish I'd got one when you could get a used one for around £3.5k. I could have just about afforded it, and given it would have almost doubled in value it would have been an alright* investment. I just assumed I could buy one a bit later.
*after insurance premiums, servicing and potential risk of damage or theft.

Story of our lives....
But its also one of the ugliest Rolexes. We're now wishing we'd seen the climb on even the ugliest of uglies. (it's grown on me though...)
Also quite a fan of Ti - have a Pelagos and Aerospace both Ti and like that look.
