Fully sick und fully period correct but technically not a full groupset I‘d say. Rear Derailleur & Seatpost SR; brakelevers (and presumably the headset) are Nuovo. For full SR, I‘d argue that „real“ SR pedals with TI axles are neccessary, not sure if this is the case or if these are superleggeri. There were also SR hubs with titanium axles, but they‘re rare as hens teeth. To sum up, pretty much a perfect build, but still room for comments from pedants like me :)

Full Campag Chorus, including seatpost, pedals, cables, from the mid 90s I think ... on a Paganini TSX (long since sold sadly):

Does this count? @vpCogworks ' Puch, with the bulletproof 105sc. Or does the lack of the correct pedals rule this out?

I have a bike for this thread now. Full 7700(minus headset, seatpost, and pedals). Still a brilliant group.

Thanks for the feature!
Since that pic I've got pedals too actually, I believe the cages are correct 105SC and the pedal is one generation earlier.

What's going on here, with the photochop shenanigans? Half a headset and no DT cable stops?

Wow yes, fuck it !

Not exa tly 'full' then :))
Makes one wonder though what happens when you ride a bike with a headset like that. -

The cables are just as interesting.
Only just found this thread, might have to swap a couple of bits and take a pic for it

Here we go... this review says the pedals weren't included, but both of the ones I bought came with matching PD-7800s, so that might've been wrong.
Nearly ten years ago I got one of these for six hundred bucks(!), in great condition... Pity it was a size too big. Sold the groupset for $560, hah. Couple of years ago, finally found one in my size for only a grand, in incredible condition, totally worth the 400km drive. Pretty sure only the bars, stem and tyres aren't original.
Didn't come with a Shimano wheelset so not quite full, but the less seen of that mutant FH-7800 the better.

1987... It would be a while before Shimano won the TdF, but when you compare the kit from this period, it was inevitable. They were already in the business of defining the ne plus ultra.
At this point, for mine, Shimano was to Campy as Campy was to Mavic.
You're right I have to find a 1st gen rear derailleur, thanks bro !
