I recently started using my Light Bicycle UD rims with Swissstop Black Prince pads. In the dry they are pretty damn good. In moist conditions they are acceptable, but in the super wet it is pretty terrifying. Summer wheels only I would say!

Standard brake track or grooved graphene?

Both of these turned up this week 2-3 week delivery which is pretty good. The post is a Hylix from ebay £59 i requested it with no decals it just has the high markings up the back 158g
The carbon works copy from Aliexpres was £26 14g inc bolts
Both have small imperfections up close but for the money I'm happy so far

The post 60g than the xlc raceby post on my Genesis which cost the same and thats Chinese as well. All reports about creaking and clamp bolts needing re tightening for the first few rides seem to be the same with most T-bar posts so plenty of carbo grip and regular checking It should be fine. I might give it the fauxnago treatment later if i have time.

Anyone want a free Light Bicycle hat? It arrived with my wheels and I don't want it.

I almost love my rims enough to wear LB merch.

I’d report the same on grooved graphene. Very happy with Black Prince in the dry but not in persistent rain.

The graphene rims are better than "most" carbon rims I've used in the wet but not quite as good as my cheap alu rims. If it's pissing it down I avoid steep hills

Oh good... I'm in Catford / Hither Green.
I don't suppose you feel a powerful urge to bother coming to get it, do you?! -
• #9896
Very powerful. I'll have a new commute over to Woolwich in the new year if you'd resist binning it until then
-
• #9897
Unrelated but i failed to tag you about those 650b resolutes that @GoatandTricycle "might" have a use for, as you are fairly local to each other
