  • I haven’t found any additional info on the wheels. This is from isens insta:

We were asked by our friends at TSC Wilmslow to build a bike to compete in the National Hill climb championships this year. The aim was to build the lightest steel framed bike we could, without compromising on functionality or safety (so no drillium or cutting off drops etc...) so the bike would still be as much (type 2) fun to ride Hill climbing as it would be on a Sunday Salida.

  • Ah, Service Course Wilmslow, yep, that thing doesn't need pedals as it's not going anywhere, it'll just sit in the window with the other insta built bikes.

  • Fair play, their bikes do look very grammable indeed. But tbf, I don’t mind people spending their money on bikes like that - they support creative frame builders and it’s certainly more entertaining for us than if they spent their Money exklusively on expensive watches or whatever. They also had @larsenroad ‘s stribe with @tijmen ‘s bags on display for an exhibition, does that mean it doesn‘t get ridden either?

  • It got ridden in the national hill climb, assuming they put pedals on it for that.
