  • Boris is now toast as Tory leader.. Frost has articles in both the Spectator and FT currently... Plan B looks like being the red stop for the Tory party.

  • Actually, this is worrying - the new person will bring an uplift in the polls with a GE following not far behind. Hence the tory reluctance to replace ABP Johnson right now (or, indeed, any time in the predictable immediate future)... And thus the opposition will remain the opposition, albeit possibly with a higher number of seats.

    As for Brexit and Europe: my guess is they're likely to remain fixed to their positions and keep their "friendly" approach to discussions without giving anything up. There's a long way to go still.
