  • For posterity - what I did.

    There is a footbridge across the north circ about 50m southwest of the junction with Heathfield Gardens. Cross there and follow the footpath on the north side for a short way then you end up on the roundabout that leads onto prince charles drive. Definitely not good cycling infrastructure but much better than cycling on the north circ.

  • Where were you coming from though? The whole area is a clusterfuck. I used to ride it all the time back in the day. There's ways you can sneak in, they're far less shitty, but hey ho. Welcome to NW London.
    Once you pass Brent Cross/Hendon, cycling is a rarity till you get to Stanmore.

    Not sure why, but I have a sudden itch to cycle around those ways again.
