Hi There,
I have just had a look in the "unfinished projects" store and have this Gazelle Cross frame, forks with Shimano 600 chainset and Suntour / Pederson self energising canti brakes, seatpin
The frame is new with no dents dings or scrapes just has a layer of dust on it !Its a 53cm CTC top tube and 51.5cm BB centre to seat lug top if that's any interest PM me
I am in Edinburgh but can post / courier almost anywhere.

Well, it's been hanging up on the bike hook in the hall for the last 5 years.
It's been warm and dry and seen a lot of life pass it by as it looks out the front door, the draft from the door opening and closing has kept the dust from settling too thickly on it and it still has the Shimano 600 chainset (172.5mm cranks BTW) and Suntour / Pederson self energising canti brakes & seatpin that it had in 2016
I have thought of building it up as a town bike on a few occasions but I have been using a Specialised Turbo when it's dry and I can't see this ever being used by me.
So £125 plus postage if you're not coming to collect it and I will throw in a set of handle bars, a stem ( length of your choosing ) and a saddle .
I paid a good bit more than that for the frame ( did I say it was new, I guess NOS now.. )
Let me know what you think.

That’s just lovely. I’ve always had a soft spot for Gazelles, so it’s time this one got back out there.

Yep,
When you have a saddle top to BB centre of 70cm or less the fit is crucial.
I got this frame as it was an almost exact sized match for my LOOK 585 road bike.
if you have a good fit on your current bike with a 50cm C to T , then a 15 mm increase might be a bit much, you can take 10mm off with shallow frame saddle.
let me know if you need any other sizes checked..... it's not far to the front door from here :-)

Sorry for the delay, my current frame measures 48cm C-T so think this will be too big sadly :(

Yep,
that's really too much of a stretch from 48cm to 51.5cm and you have the longer top tube at 53cm to contend with as well.
It's too big for you :-(
