Ask your household if anyone has caused offence or somehow slighted the bin people.
If someone did something, tie a young milk goat to your bin as a peace offering. If you’re fresh out of goats, they’re (probably) not velociraptors: a holiday chocolate bar or thank you card with a few quid would also do.
