Is it possible to prove ULEZ compliance with a non-EU import?

I have tried this, and failed. Being non-EU I cannot get a certificate that details its emissions - but if you could do that you should be ok.

all the imported petrol Elgrands/ALphards/Stepwagon etc are listed as ULEZ complaint - not sure how they've achieved it?

If the JDM car is exported to anywhere in Europe that isn't the UK then it will have a Euro rating.

Trying to get a Euro rating for a JDM only model is pretty hard.

I thought local rules mean you have to brave OVM and get a Pick-up?
I have to stop myself everytime I pass it on the way to the folks.

just done a random check on a imported Toyota vellfire and it passes clean air requirements and ULEZ - not sure how it was achieved?

TFL check on licence plate say nope. Bit farcical if a 7.3L diesel V8 'murican behemoth from 1989 were to be deemed ULEZ compliant!

Spotless 1972 V8 Rover P6, had a respray and my shithouse phone camera doesn't properly capture the colour, which is more purple than it looks here. Looks great with the black and chrome wheels.
