"as you only test within 90 days of a previous positive PCR test if you get any new symptoms. So the non-symptom reasons are out for people within 90 days of a previous positive PCR test.
However, that's a very literal reading of the text on that site, and maybe with Omicron it's better to test for close contact etc, but there's an increased chance you'll still test positive from the previous infection.

Can someone clear something up for me?
Gov. advice is to not get another PCR 90 days from +ve PCR, unless you're symptomatic/close contact/ +ve LFD; all of which are the conditions for which you would usually qualify for a PCR anyway. As I understand it (could well be wrong on this) you can't legitimately book a PCR if none of the above apply.
So under what conditions would you usually get a PCR, but not be able to because of the 90 day thing?
