Goatdock, although it seems a bit expensive. https://www.goatdock.org/
IKEA Kallax is a favourite for many. -

I miss the Expedit.

I do get a little paranoid, but the most I've down is fold it badly, i.e. raise the saddle and leave it unhooked, so that if someone tries to pick it up it flails open loudly and is difficult to carry.

Anyone have experience of the ARCC electric conversion?
Seems like swych and ARCC are the only options for a pre-existing bike?
-

Anyone got/used any of the hooky Aceoffix stuff from Aliexpress?
S stem for like £60 shipped is quite tempting …
-
• #10586
Cheap, shite!
-
• #10587
Not what I look for in a stem. Will wait for a cheap used one to pop up on eBay.
-
• #10588
There’s a raw lacquer on the bay, but bet it goes pricey
-
• #10589
Just spotted that actually. Had missed it as I think it’s listed as ‘new’ and I’d been keeping an eye on used stuff. Will see what it does.
You aren’t going to bid on it? I know you were looking for one recently.

I’m tempted. But I have a lot of other stuff on hand…
Got a spare Ti fork actually, will offer a splendid Christmas price for anyone in need
-
• #10591
Interested! Will drop you a DM if M_V isn't tempted
-
• #10592
FWIW I've used their quick release pedals and easy wheels for a couple of years and they've been fine.
-
• #10594
My wallet does not stretch to ti I’m afraid so it’s all yours.
-
• #10595
Also, I can’t actually decide I want to the S stem conversion or not. There’s something about the M bars that’s like… fundamentally Brompton? I know the S stem/bar is meant to be the more aero and therefore faster riding position but that’s not really what the bike is about (for me).
-
• #10596
yeah the M type is the OG but S type rides great. sticking on a 600mm bar on m type makes it ride like a cruiser for sure
-
• #10597
Got a spare part (I split the chain, took the back wheel out and the back brake off). Anyone know what it is?!

brass bush for brake, the brake will work without it, but better with it!
look behind the brake, the spring sits inside this, need a strong thumb and a flat screwdriver
-
• #10599
Brilliant, thanks. It was a pig to get that spring in place again. Maybe it'll be easier second time... Thanks again.

it can be a right wiggle!
Anyone wall mount their folded brompton? If so please can you recommend a fixing.
