  • I like PMK a lot and have been using it pretty much exclusively for a year or so. It has excellent shelf life, as you probably know. I don't use it for faster film as you tend to lose a stop because of its staining properties. eg. for TriX 400 you'd probably need to meter at iso 200. That takes all the fun out of TriX! For Kentmere 100 (first time I've used it) I shot @ 100. For Ilford FP4 125 I shoot @ 100. PMK is really great with FP4.

  • ah so a low grain dev, nice to know, fucking UK winter means all I do is shoot HP5 at 800 and above
