Mercian Strada Speciale - 59cm, nearly new

725 frame. just built up from new, with vintage 10 speed Record and Chorus alloy.

Seat tube 58.5 c-t
Top tube 56 c-c

Wheels are the last 10 speed Record alloy OS models, matching Record QRs, on Mavic Open Pro.

Chainset is a Veloce compact CT square taper, these are hard to come by, I can’t handle a non compact round here. I’ve upgraded the rings to nice TA ones.

Bars are Nitto M106NAS and stem is Cinelli XA. Seat post is Nitto S65 but I have a Campagnolo chorus aero somewhere too. Saddle is a near-new Cambium.

It’s all in great condition. Pick up in Betchworth or from Redhill station if you’re travelling from London.

I actually really like NDS photos!

So do a lot of people selling bikes on ebay with no ffing info, photos focussed on the wrong thing, no measurements. Today I was looking at Rourke with 'top of the range' components on it on ebay, photos have all got a ffing Insta filter on so you can't even figure out what colour it is.

Glad you did some better pics. Lovely bike. Sad to say I can't buy this, even though it might fit me. Bonkers that 10sp is called 'vintage' now ;)

The bike looks even nicer with the Chorus aero post on it, but those posts are a bit short for me. I'll bundle it with the bike.

Non-OS DT and TT gives this one a lovely springy ride quality. Feels very 'light' against the road.
