Gone -Free - Canyon Aeroad CF SLX 2018 Frameset - Damaged Carbon

Hi all,

Before taking by favourite frame to the dump, I was wondering if anyone would like it to try and rapair if they have the skills to do so.

The stays were cracked when someone handlebar went through them and the wheels, so no major impact to the rest of the frame, just the rotational twist and snapping of the stays. See Pics for details.
They Might be too far gone, but you can decide.

Shall be scrapped towards the end of the week.

What size is this?

What kind of spiders have you kept in the BB?

Is the fork rim brake and tapered? If its undamaged I might be able to use it on my cannondale

It is, but direct mount.

Having had a carbon frame repaired and happily ridden it, that cracking around the bb area would concern me. A lot

Big nasty ones that get Cranky when disturbed

I will try and reply in order of interest. But just want to make it clear that it could quite potentially be too damaged to be worth repairing (multiple defect locations) but I'm no expert. Just want to prevent any disappointment or people going too far out of your way.

@Glws You know that’s how I roll fam. That’s a hell of a clean repair by the way.
I’ve done this a couple of times as well, but the BB cluster will be a good challenge. Might not have a complex enough vacuum bag for that.

Bump. This is back up. @Grifffff Thank you so much for this, but I've realised I'm up the wazoo in frames and I'm freaking out a little. If anyone wants this, I'd like to pass it on. It can still be revived if you're up for a challenge.
