I was tempted by this but it doesn’t spark joy, think the attraction of the flyer/ mono is it’s a “road bike” with one gear, not a track bike.

I've got a 56cm Paddy Wagon of the Deda variety that I'm considering selling.

How about going for something vintage lugged 1" Reynolds 531 with horizontal dropouts and mudguard mounts etc and then having the steerer extended so you can use aheadset and modern bars/stems? I have had great experiences doing this. And it can be done for next to nothing if you don't mind tatty paint
