Yeah definitely the case with still photography and that's what makes film great but the image you posted already has that clean modern digital/neutral look. Which is not far off what you get from an Arri Alexa with just the default lut.

gotta say to me it does not look digital / neutral at all, but very rich and smooth and, well, analogue - which is why I posted it, basically
My point is you would have a very hard time to hit those grays with an analogue workflow consistently.
