theres something about watching whole sessions throughout the day that’s very rewarding, i was burnt out after working away for 20-30 day stretches early in 2005 and watching most of ashes series as recovery gave me a different insight to test cricket when you get to see the individual battles take shape, something a highlights package never gets across.

Rainy day here in New Zealand, so will be watching the whole day with no guilt that I’m not doing the gardening or fixing the roof. Although the rain does keep reminding me I need to fix the roof… +3 hour time diff here so chance to get some stuff done before settling in for an afternoon and evening of test cricket.

100% - best days are blathering the day away with beers and a test match.
