At least that was what I did when I shifted all mine 10yrs ago. App let you scan the barcodes so it was pretty quick, then they did a prepaid label to post to them.
I got nowhere near what they were 'worth'. But then given they'd been in boxes for a decade then evidently they weren't worth anything to me anymore, so the couple of hundred quid was vastly better than that.
Still seems they have the app and the same free posting

Still not decided yet. Dusted off the old cd player and listened to some early Pink Floyd while deciding what to do.
I'll give MusicMagpie a go this week to see if any have 'value', then might take @hvsds advice and take them into a shop to see what I can for the rest. I'm not fussed about making money, more than they don't end up in a landfill somewhere.

I too have a shed load of CDs I never listen to, but they're part of my history, couldn't bear them going to landfill.
They still sit in boxes in cupboards but I get to revive them every time I shower now
