  • When you dither about buying something, then finally decide to pull the trigger only to find it’s just gone out of stock.
    Currently livid. (At myself obvs)

    I was going to buy an Xmas present the other off amazon, checked in with my OH and then the price had jumped. Just so annoying for not just jumping on it.

  • Hmm possible algorithm tracking you and ratcheting up the price if you linger? Maybe try an incognito window or a different computer/internet access point and see if the price is the 'old' one. Anyway, another reason to avoid Amazon if at all possible

    Also annoying (and related, in this instance) is when eBay sellers list something with offers allowed, but clearly have no intention of accepting anything more than 1% off the b.I.n.
    Fairly sure I’ve whined about this before but it bears repeating.
