I was unaware this blight on humanity existed, they've been sat on our new furniture at the delivery depot for a week with no sign of attempting a delivery. one item was estimated for yesterday, other is due tomorrow. we have a removals van coming to move the stuff from here to our new place on sunday. if they're not on it, it's going to be fucking impossible to transport them without hiring a van.

I hate that when I then logged on to the retailer site to see if i can get them to chase they've silently changed the status of another order for our sofas (due next monday) to "backordered" with an estimate of dec 31st. so that's all our christmas plans (and ability to sit & relax in our new place for 3 weeks) completely fucked.

I also hate that the lettings agent still hasn't sent us the final tenancy agreement and is on annual leave today, when we are meant to get the keys on saturday.

I hate everything basically.

Thoughts and prayers, I've had furniture delivered by xdp and it's a pain in the arse. I think there's an app they require if it's who I badly remember it being. Doesn't make it any more reassuring.

yeah i did the dance to get the app, took nearly 3 hours to get the link to validate the email address rendering it useless until it arrived and the in-app sign up didn't work i had to do it on the website.

looking at trust pilot reviews it's all 1 stars from people where they've not delivered their furniture weeks after receiving it at the depot and then turning up unannounced and getting shitty when no one is in and 5-star reviews that all mention the drivers name and depot number that are 100% totally legitimate and not fake at all no sir totally legitimate and above board.
