  • I've just paid online for royal mail tracked 48 postage.

    The webpage says:

Once you have placed your label and - if sending outside of the European Union (EU) - your >customs declaration form onto your item, you can choose to either:

Drop your item straight in to a post box, providing that it's small enough, you don't require proof of postage, and you've not selected a tracked or signature service.
Take your item to a Post Office® branch, providing that you have not selected our Tracked 24 or 48 >service, or Tracked 24 or 48 Age Verification services.
Take your item to a Royal Mail Customer Service Point.

It's going from and to the UK, so I believe I have to take it to the Customer Service Point.

Unfortunately, the RM website gives a link to a 'services finder' and none of the available options are CSPs.

So what is a Customer Service Point, and how do I find one? And as a bonus question, how come I can't drop it at my local post office?

  • The 2nd not shouldnt be there and hence you can drop it off at a Post Office or a CSP which is the local Delivery Office where you collect your packages if you receive a red slip.
