I'm distressed at how environmentally unfriendly it must be to keep your house so warm that you can get comfortably drunk in just your pants. Especially in the Finnish climate.

Proper insulation goes a long way. It's minus 16 outside, and I am wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Not drunk, though.

We have been to Levi a few times in the winter and the houses are crazy warm. Triple glazing and mega thick insulated walls are incredibly effective. I have seen them building houses over there and the walls must be getting on towards 0.5m thick.
