for me, squashy mouldable silicone ear plugs (like BioEars or a generic). That and a go-to scenario to think away the anxiety and panic -if that’s a factor (mine are usually I’m in a sleeping bag/bivi somewhere secluded/secure where no-one can find me).
These are the ones which won’t leave you feeling drowsy the next day:
-Cool, quiet bedroom
-Comfortable pillow with adequate support
-Dark room (get blackout blinds)
-No caffeine after early afternoon
-Avoid alcohol
-Have a bath or hot shower before bed
-Avoid using screens near bedtime
