I was a member briefly about 3/4 years ago if it's the one behind the shops opposite the park in the arches. south london makerspace i think it was.
there's plenty of decent woodworking tools in there and the induction was very good for an overview of how use to most of them but it's not that big in there, it might be a good practice location for chopping and fixing things together but assembly on any kind of scale would prove tricky imo.
I'm going to the open day at Herne Hill makerspace on Wednesday (if my musings about Covid exposure ahead of Christmas allow me), they've apparently got a well equipped woodworking workshop, but as it's a community thing I'd feel pretty comfortable about buying some equipment for them as my contribution - so any such kit will have a home I'm afraid.
