That was a complete shitshow of a race. I thought about commenting last night but decided not to.
I'm not really surprised that Max has started pushing his luck even further since Brazil, it's become pretty apparent (IMO) that Mercedes have really upped their game (whether it's the new engine, or the fancy wing, or whatever), and sees the title slipping away. And while it's not pretty to watch, it's not exactly surprising that it's happening. Last time we had a last-race decider we had Hamilton intentionally slowing down to try to back Rosberg up into Vettel & Verstappen. Was it dirty, damn right. Was it surprising? I'd say not really.
I think this sums it up for me. Being ex-Red Bull, it's difficult to not be biased. But we're seeing exactly that ^ and I think we're seeing desperate moves.
