Maybe, but like many records it's a bit of a useless one isn't it? He's never really had a decent opportunity for a win, so it's not like he's been throwing them away. He's been driving great in his first season with the team against a driver who's pretty well regarded, and is basically the team's long-term hope for winning championships again.
Definitely biased on this one, but I stand by the opinion that Ferrari have the strongest driver pairing of any team at the moment. Possibly a good thing that they don't have a championship-winning car at the moment as they'd probably get into a McLaren 2007 type scenario where their drivers are too busy taking points off each other they'd throw away the championship.

I think it's a useful stat if only to offer some insight into how that person might perform under pressure for a win (if Ferrari are in the mix next season). Being the bridesmaid and never the bride for that length of time will definitely affect his mentality.

This season, I'd say it's probably Red Bull but it has to be Mercedes in 2022 with Russell joining the team.
He's got an unwanted record now though...
