the gall of them calling it ultimate...
I'm a crunchy man myself, might have to pick up a jar to sample though.

Really decent discount on My Protein use the code BLACK rather than the FLASH code they're advertising at the moment and you can get 1kg tubs for £2.48.
I really rate the crunchy My Protein Peanut and Smooth Almond stuff especially if you add some salt to it when you mix it all up. Code works on all nut butter, Almond (£7.13) and Cashew (£5.80). These are the cheapest prices I've managed to get on My Protein over the last 4 years of ordering.

I've tried adding 8 tubs to an order and then tried logging in, no dice, same price.

Maybe it was a glitch this morning and they rectified it after my order was processed? Apologies for getting folks hopes up of cheap nut butter goodness.

It's still pretty cheap from MP though, right? I've had their stuff before and I remember it comparing pretty well.

It's marginally above what I normally pay - my standard order is 4 x Peanut and 3 x Almond. This normally comes to around £40-42 (Including delivery). Current pricing (I've checked and code now doesn't work for me) comes to just under £47.

We don't have enough cupboard space for bulk buying. Most we can do is 2x1kg and we're good for now anyway. But if it was super cheap I'm sure i could find more storage (read: drink more beer)

For any Elvis fans out there, Lidl have their peanut butter and black grape back in stock for USA week. Not great for sugar, salt, oil etc but that never bothered Elvis either.

shame they've removed the prominent "made in Yorkshire" from the front.
also, I'd never noticed this before on the underside...
thanks, Kev! 🙌

Enjoyed a jar of this recently, might seek out a few KGs. Dangerous though, the sweet/salty dichotomy is strong.

No I had 2 yesterday.
Didn't think of PB'ing them, wasn't it a bit cloying?
On that note- awaiting a re-up of the best (no more than salt added) PB I've had so far (Freda's), which includes a pot + winter fruit and spice. Quite excited by that.Rankings: (limited to 10)

MrsDeth was a fan of the M&S Maple Pecan peanut butter, but sadly seems to have been discontinued.
Anyone aware of a similar flavoured spread?

It was a particularly oily Meridian Crunchy, and the lightly toasted HCB was fruity enough to pull it off. Otherwise a jam would definitely have been necessary.

Never heard of Freda's before , Have you tried the Chipotle Chilli one ?

Yep, wasn't the biggest fan, still have a half-jar in the PB cupboard.
Think it would be for good ants on a log (+/-the ants).
All about the Smunch in this house too, good stuff on crumpets.
