Have you seen them? The previous owner of our 60s bungalow had rats in the roof space but we hadn’t heard anything in the 2 years since we moved in. Then...
Scrabbling, scratching, thuds since Monday of this week.
I had a look and saw nothing.
Local pest killer came over had a look , no fresh droppings but thought there were definitely rodents.
He put loads of strong bait down on Wednesday afternoon- Wednesday night was like they were having a party. Thursday night noisy too, probably be noisy tonight too.
How long before the fuckers implode?

I’ve not seen them in the house, but I’ve seen them on the house. Unfortunately we have a textured render around the top floor of the house which is enough for them to get their little paws into. They can access this from the garage roof and the kitchen roof.
I guess it could not be squirrels, but it seems like the likeliest explanation given the ease with which the little buggers can get up there. They’ve gone a bit quiet recently, I expect because winter is slowing them down.
Had a pest guy over and he quoted 700ish quid to stick some traps in the garden. Fuck that, I thought. I can kill them myself for 700 quid.
I have squirrels in my roof, fucking bastards. They’ve got into a section of the eaves that there’s no access to. They’re so noisy, especially at about five in the morning. I hate them and I want them to die.
