You can just copy mp3s to your phone and use a player on the phone, no?
I've just got a cheap mp3 player that I used to use for 24hr TTs the lives in the car. I sweated into it and it stopped playing but I can still plug it into the car stereo and play mp3s off it.

Same. Lots of other sensible options out there but Android will not allow you to set them as the default media players, so useless in the car. So fucking irritating.

I hate Spotify, it's shit but I use my partner's account in the car... I need to buy a hard drive big enough to store them all and stick that in my car, kinda feels like a backward step...
