Looks to me like the ad is for the stem only rather than the whole bike?
-
• #253
Ah - ok - you might be right - deleted in that case.

Too good to be true? Check out some of the sellers other items too.

Looks dodgy to me. The Klein has disappeared and the Yeti is now for sale under a different buyer's name.
No defineable location either.
I'd avoid.

Watch out for this seller, hes a thief (or at least is selling stolen bikes). I messaged the mate who reported the bike stolen and he says that the seller was selling other bikes that were stolen from his property at the same time the dolan was gone(I can only assume he is the thief)

Is that a massive bend in the downtube?
-
• #258
No, the down tube is shaped like that. It's ovalized(ish) in the centre.

Will someone with more welding knowledge weigh in on this Titanium Lightspeed with an eye sore repair on the seat tube? Looks pretty bad to my eye, but I’m no frame builder.

Jesus. If you’re skilled enough to be able to weld titanium then you really should be able to do better than that. It’s an appalling-looking job. I wouldn’t touch that with a shitty stick.
-
• #263
I think that's not a dent, it's just how those frames look....!
etc -
• #264
Ah thanks for that info

You can report it and cite Listing Practices, I think? Maybe if enough people report it, it will flag with an actual mod?

There's no law against selling a bent thing though is there? Not that I'm defending their sharp attitude. Presumably whoever buys this will find out soon enough that it's a ringer and return it.

LOLs @ 'wright brothers' parts

I’ve tried and there’s no way I can find to inform eBay what the actual issue is. Very frustrating.

• #272
how about Listing Practices -> Search & browse manipulation -> Incorrect item condition?
It's listed as "used, fully functioning" when it should be "non functional, for parts"? -
• #273
Damn. Yup - I had a look too. Buyer has to return it then, I suppose. Or just get refunded and then it’s the seller’s problem to get it back.

Brand new eBay account selling a few decent bikes with photos in a storage container - looks very dodgy. Perhaps someone recognizes any of the rides?

Reckon a Paypal not as described is a done deal on these (FB Marketplace).
no freehub, front seized, 3 end caps missing. messaged the guy whose response was..."I don't understand, how can it be problem if they're the same wheels in the advert?"
