London to Southend - 99% traffic-free 3

I rode it on road bike with 25c tyres. Not particularly recommended but I only fell off once. Actually, twice.

Anybody fancy doing this on Sunday? Want to go early because light.

Rainham RSPB reserve is one of my favourite places near London.

Hey geez how long is this route gonna take me ish?

Also, can anyone point me to the bit where I'm dependent on the tide?

it's a solid full day out if you go all the way
you can take the train to rainham to skip the london outskirts bit, that's a nice way to shorten it
tide bit is just after tilbury fort but I've never found it an issue, maybe dumb luck all these times

Ere. Have been trying to find a way to do this ride with you but Sunday is also a server migration and I have to babysit that.
I had pencilled-in Saturday morning to nudge along a bit of the HDIJ route, but it looks like I’ll be floating, face down, in Remote Desktop then too : /
